VLS Houses & Assembly
At VLS International School, the house system plays a crucial role in fostering teamwork, leadership, and a sense of belonging among students. The four houses—Yellow, Green, Blue, and Red are designed to instill values of discipline, responsibility, and camaraderie.
Yellow House – Represents energy, optimism, and creativity. It encourages students to be innovative and spread positivity.
Green House – Symbolizes growth, harmony, and responsibility. It promotes environmental awareness and teamwork.
Blue House – Stands for wisdom, confidence, and discipline. It focuses on academic excellence and leadership skills.
Red House – Represents strength, passion, and determination. It motivates students to be bold, competitive, and goal-oriented.
Each house can have its own motto, mascot, and key responsibilities, such as leading cultural activities, sports events, and academic competitions.



Activities & Events We Conduct
- Inter-House Competitions – Debates, quizzes, sports events, art competitions, and cultural performances.
- Sports Tournaments – Football, basketball, athletics, cricket, and other sports where houses compete for trophies.
- Cultural Events – Dance, music, and drama competitions to showcase talent.
- Community Service – Environmental initiatives, charity drives, and social awareness programs.
- Leadership Roles – House captains, vice-captains, and prefects take charge of organizing and leading house activities.
- House Assemblies – Each house gets a chance to conduct school assemblies with inspirational themes.
